Split & Trade

Trade your whole genome or split it into parts and build specific NFTs representing your Neanderthal DNA, mitochondrial genome, or one of your 23 chromosome pairs.

img

Empower Research

Participate in genomics research. Support scientific exploration of the genome and help the global science community in its mission to understand, prevent, detect and better treat disease.

img

Control Your Legacy

Do not let your most precious data be controlled by large corporations. Take control of your data and monetize it the way you want to, and help to build the digital ‘ark of humanity’.

How it Works

Share your DNA NFT for the greater good

Be part of our mission to transform the lives of global citizens living with a degenerative or life-threatening genetic disease by revolutionizing awareness, developing innovative cures through our partner research programs, and providing resources through community and clinical support channels.

A small part of all proceeds will also be invested in stake pools to build the non-profit HLTH foundation to revolutionize global healthcare systems via an inclusive crypto ecosystem that provides an opportunity for everyone to harness the potential of an equitable and truly borderless healthcare economy. The foundation will drive adoption, facilitate partnerships, ensure stakeholder accountability, and helps to grow the global token-based health community, particularly in emerging healthcare systems.

FAQ’s

The process of ‘minting’ your DNA information and creating an NFT. Minting an NFT is how the ownership of your DNA code, made out of the letters A, G, T, C becomes a part of a blockchain–a public ledger that is unchangeable and tamper-proof. Similar to the way that metal coins are minted and added into circulation, NFTs are also tokens that get “minted” once they are created.

Yes, you can and it is up to you if you decide to sell it later or not or to pass it on to your kids. Alternatively, you can directly share your genetic information on the HLTH platform without minting it and share it with researchers in an anonymous form (your identity remains completely unknown to the health researchers).

Whenever you create an NFT of your DNA or parts of it, you can set a certain percentage as royalty for secondary sales. It’s all automated as a smart contract is created at the point the NFT is minted, and will be enforced automatically by computer code on the blockchain. You do not have to keep track of its future ownership to claim royalties.

Your DNA NFT may be used for other purposes as well, for example:
1. Open it up for research (suitable for people with rare diseases).
2. Add rules to it what happens to your DNA after you die.

Yes, you can. The NFT marketplace is also useful for securing intellectual property on plants (e.g. wheat or cannabis strains), or fungi (e.g. yeast strains). It is also useful for breeders or owners of dogs, cats, camels, or racehorses, among other highly valued animals. By tokenizing the DNA of the animals, the breeder can prove the origin and breed of the animal and sell rights to it, offer tamper-proof breeder licenses, or use it as a pet passport when ownership of the animal changes; e.g. when selling a racehorse or camel. The NFT can serve to verify authenticity, track provenance, and prove ownership.

For any given NFT, historical ownership data is stored on a blockchain, which means that everything can be easily tracked back to the original owner: you, allowing for very quick and easy authentication. NFTs cannot be split into smaller denominations. They exist as their own, complete, and indivisible entity.

The NFT is stored in the owner's digital wallet — it has no physical form. However, an NFT can be sold together with a physical certificate if desired.

We will work with a variety of vetted research projects and charities to pick from. You decide how much goes to the charity. Choose, for example, to support Cancer Research, Rare disease projects, or longevity research, or choose a charity on your own. If you choose your own project, then the money earned from your NFTs stays in ESCROW until the charity was vetted by us.
